In 2022, the Panthers made history by becoming the first club to secure back-to-back premierships since the Sydney Roosters did it in 2018-19, a feat that had not been achieved since the Brisbane Broncos in the early ’90s. Last season, they continued this remarkable run with a three-peat, the first team to do so since the Parramatta Eels from 1981 to 1983.

Kenny emphasized the team’s mindset, stating, “We don’t see ourselves as the team from last year trying to defend the premiership; we view ourselves as a new team aiming to win this one.” He highlighted that this year presents a fresh challenge, and the team treats it accordingly.
