West Brom star Grady Diangana has sent a social media message to his Albion teammate Darnell Furlong.
It comes after the latter scored for the Baggies as they drew 1-1 away to Hull City on Saturday (24 February).
The home side went ahead in the 35th minute at the MKM Stadium through Fabio Carvalho, with Furlong equalising just before half-time.
The Baggies defender took to social media to celebrate the goal, with Diangana commenting on his post on Instagram (25 February).
Darnell Furlong pops up with vital West Brom goal
Furlong doesn’t get on the scoresheet for the Baggies very often, but he certainly produced the goods against Hull.
And the goal will have delighted his teammates and manager, at a time when the hosts had been threatening to double their lead.
The Tigers took their time to break down the Baggies defence, and it took a spectacular long-range effort from Carvalho to do just that.
But the visitors didn’t take long to bounce back as Furlong glanced the ball home from a Jed Wallace corner.
The two sides could not be separated from that moment on, with both clubs perhaps set to be happy having come away from the early kick-off with a point each.
Furlong now has three goals for the campaign, with his effort helping clinch a point that keeps West Brom in the promotion race.
The Midlands club are currently fifth in the Championship table, one point and one place ahead of the Tigers.
