And both goals were scored by Yankuba Minteh, who came off the bench to hand the Rotterdam club a vital three points on the road.
They were both noteworthy strikes. The first was from distance, looping over the Almere goalkeeper to give Feyenoord the lead. It was a great goal, although there is every chance Minteh was actually crossing it.
There could be no debate about the second in stoppage time, as his clever first time finish made it 2-0.
The 19-year-old now has nine goal contributions in all competitions, with many Toon fans eager to see what he can do on Tyneside next season.

He has played a lot for the Dutch club, making 25 appearances in total so far. It is proving to be a fruitful experience, and hopefully that will continue to be the case between now and the end of the season.
Then he will head to Newcastle, and it will be interesting to see what Eddie Howe and co do with the talented teenager.
