In a timely boost for their offense, the Denver Broncos have designated wide receiver Josh Reynolds to return from injured reserve. Reynolds, who joined the Broncos on a two-year deal this past spring, had been sidelined with a hand injury since Week 5. Despite his absence, the 29-year-old playmaker is expected to provide much-needed depth to Denver’s offense as the team pushes for a playoff spot.
While off the field, Reynolds made headlines due to involvement in a shooting outside a Denver nightclub. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported. Now, with 12 catches for 183 yards and one touchdown this season, Reynolds returns just as the Broncos sit at 5-5, aiming to stay competitive in the AFC Wild Card race.
Originally drafted by the Rams, Reynolds brings veteran experience and a career total of 232 receptions, 3,116 yards, and 20 touchdowns to the Broncos. Head coach Sean Payton may soon decide if Reynolds will resume his starting role opposite Courtland Sutton as Denver prepares to host the 6-4 Atlanta Falcons this weekend at Empower Field.
