As West Virginia heads into November with a 4-4 record, head coach Neal Brown faces mounting pressure regarding his future. Fans are troubled not just by the losses but also by how they happened: a lackluster showing against Penn State, a blown lead against rival Pitt, missed chances against Iowa State, and repeated defensive lapses in a blowout loss to Kansas State.
If Brown manages a winning streak to close the season, he could quiet doubts about his leadership. But opinions are already divided. In a recent poll on X, 55.4% of WVU fans believe Brown will return in 2025, while 44.6% foresee a coaching change, highlighting the uncertainty surrounding his future with the Mountaineers.
