Liverpool’s next Premier League fixture is none other than the Merseyside derby against Everton.
Jurgen Klopp’s side host their city rivals at Anfield on October 21, in the first game back after the international break at 12:30pm on Saturday afternoon.
As is often the case with such pauses to the domestic calendar, there is often the risk of players returning with injuries having been in action for their country.
That has unfortunately transpired on this occasion, with Andy Robertson forced off with a shoulder issue during Scotland’s Euro 2024 defeat by Spain. It remains to be seen how long the left-back will be sidelined for, though there is a suggestion it may not be a quick return.
