“Packers Make Power Move: Promising LB Coach Poised to Join Coaching Ranks in Green Bay!”

According to reports, the Green Bay Packers are poised to hire Anthony Campanile, currently serving as the Miami Dolphins' linebackers coach and run game coordinator, to take up the same role in Green Bay.

As per a report by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Anthony Campanile will join the Packers as their linebackers coach and run game coordinator to support Jeff Hafley in transitioning the team to a 4-3 defensive scheme.

Campanile was with the Miami Dolphins for the past four seasons, where his contribution helped the Dolphins finish tenth in the league in yards per carry (4.21) from 2020 to 2023. In comparison, the Packers’ defense gave up 4.66 yards per carry, which ranked only 31st in the NFL during that time.

Campanile was highly sought after during the recent hiring season. He was interviewed for the defensive coordinator position with the Giants, and the Philadelphia Eagles were interested in hiring him as their linebackers coach.

Interestingly, the Eagles have recently acquired Vic Fangio, who was previously Campanile’s boss and served as the Miami Dolphins’ defensive coordinator. It is noteworthy to mention that in an ironic twist, former Packers defensive coordinator Joe Barry will reportedly take up the role left by Campanile as linebackers coach and run game coordinator at the Dolphins, according to multiple reports.Interestingly, the Eagles have recently acquired Vic Fangio, who was previously Campanile’s boss and served as the Miami Dolphins’ defensive coordinator.
