2024 Cincinnati Reds Caravan announced

The Cincinnati Reds have released dates and cities for the upcoming 2024 Reds Caravan. But the specific locations aren’t all available yet.

 

Here’s what we know:

 

The caravan will run from January 22nd through January 27th. As usual, there are multiple “tours”. This year there are five of them – the Central Tour, the West Tour, the East Tour, the North Tour, and the South Tour.

 

The Central Tour

 

There are two stops for this tour and it’s the one that will kick things off for the caravan. On Monday the 22nd they will be at Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill in Hamilton, Ohio from 6-8pm EST. The next day – Tuesday the 23rd – they will be at the Lawrenceburg Event Center in Lawrenceburg, Indiana from 5:30-7:30pm EST.

 

This leg of the tour will have John Sadak, Brian Giesenschlag (Monday), Tommy Thrall (Tuesday), pitcher Ian Gibaut, minor leaguers Jay Allen II, Chase Petty, and Edwin Arroyo, former catcher Corky Miller, and vice president of player development (farm director) Shawn Pender.

 

The West Tour

 

Not every detail for this leg of the tour has been announced yet, but we know that they will be in Evansville, Indiana on Wednesday the 24th at a yet to be determined location from 4:30-6pm CST. They will then be in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday the 25th at Castleton Square Mall from 5-7pm EST.

 

This leg of the tour will have Nick Krall, Marty Brennaman, Jeff Brantley, Corky Miller, pitcher Carson Spiers, and minor leaguers Blake Dunn and Jacob Hurtubise.

 

The East Tour

 

On January 25th this leg of the tour will kick off in Charleston, West Virginia at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center from 5:30-7:30pm EST. On Friday the 26th they will be in Huntington, West Virginia at the Huntington Mall from 4:30-6:30pm EST.

 

This leg of the tour will have assistant general manager Sam Grossman, pitcher Andrew Abbott, former player Todd Benzinger, and minor leaguers Rece Hinds, Cam Collier, and Sal Stewart.

 

The North Tour

 

This leg of the tour won’t get started until Friday the 26th in Columbus, Ohio when they will be at Polaris Fashion Place from 6-8pm EST. On Saturday the 27th they will be at two different stops. One will be in Dayton, Ohio at the National Museum of the United States Air Force from 10:30am-1pm EST. The other stop will be in Lima, Ohio at the Apollo Career Center from 2-4pm EST.

 

This leg of the tour will feature David Bell (Columbus and Dayton only), pitcher Frankie Montas, former players Corky Miller and Sam LeCure, vice president of player acquisition and strategy Jeff Graupe, and minor leaguers Rhett Lowder and Ty Floyd.

 

The South Tour

 

Like the North Tour, this one won’t get started until Friday the 26th. This leg kicks off in Louisville, Kentucky at Louisville Slugger Field from 6-8pm EST. On Saturday the 27th they will be making two stops. One will be in Bowling Green, Kentucky at the National Corvette Museum from 10am-noon CST. The other one will be in Lexington, Kentucky at Red Mile from 3:30-5:30pm EST.

 

This leg of the tour will feature Phil Castellini, Brad Meador, Jim Day, former player Ron Robinson, pitcher Buck Farmer, and minor leaguers Sammy Stafura and Carlos Jorge.
