The injury expert notes his knee surgery in the 2019-20 campaign, but has also assessed his fitness record since then and nothing appears to be drawing any red flags.
He does assert, however, that the club signing him will take a look at his overall fitness and that appears to be FC Utrecht as the Scottish Herald reported on 9 January that the deal could be completed this week.
Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“The club will be looking at his overall fitness levels with a keen understanding of his injury history.
“The only that sticks out here is the knee surgery in 2019-20 but based on the injury record since and even this season, it doesn’t seem like there’s been much more cause for concern with it when it comes to the medical.
“Unless there’s something significant going on that’s not been reported, unlikely there are any issues with his medical.“
Lammers’ move to Rangers has not panned out as many thought it would and that will be a disappointment for the club hierarchy.
He was signed under Michael Beale, who failed to get the best out of him and Philippe Clement has opted for other options over the Dutchman.
The 26-year-old has scored just two goals in 17 league appearances this season for Rangers with just one assist to his name.
