In late July Bucknuts posted the news that 5-star 2025 Georgia offensive line commitment Micah Debose from Mobile (Ala.) Vigor would be in Ohio and would visit Ohio State for a day during the last week of July.
That visit indeed happened and DeBose was impressed. He also left Ohio State having been offered a scholarship by the Buckeyes on the visit.
At the beginning of this month Bucknuts posted that DeBose would be back in Columbus for the Ohio State – Michigan State game. He indeed was and he went home very impressed.

The Buckeyes, ranked No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings for the second week in a row, got out to a 35-3 halftime lead on their way to a 38-3 rout of the Spartans before 105,137 on a brisk evening at Ohio Stadium.
Ohio State (10-0, 7-0) remains on a collision course with Michigan (10-0, 7-0). Those two teams will collide on Nov. 25 in Ann Arbor with the Big Ten Eastern Division title and playoff implications hanging in the balance. Earlier on Saturday, Michigan went to Penn State and grinded out a 24-15 win over the 10th-ranked Nittany Lions. OSU wraps the home schedule against Minnesota (5-5, 3-4) next Saturday.
The win gave Ohio State its 30th 10-or-more win season in school history, good for fourth all-time in FBS history. This is also the 14th time and second year in a row Ohio State has started or finished a season 10-0 since the first 10-0 season in 1968.
OSU quarterback Kyle McCord was on top of his game. He completed 24 of 31 passes for a career-high 335 yards with three touchdowns before leaving the game midway through the third quarter.
The Buckeyes made a concerted effort to highlight junior wide receiver and Heisman Trophy candidate Marvin Harrison Jr. Harrison had OSU’s first touchdown on a 19-yard run on an end around. He ended up with seven catches for 149 yards with two more touchdowns receiving.
Tight end Cade Stover returned to action after missing last week’s game at Rutgers. He had seven catches for 79 yards and a touchdown.
Running back TreVeyon Henderson added 63 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries – all in the first half. Utility man Xavier Johnson also had four carries for 40 yards and one catch for 31 yards.
Michigan State (3-7, 1-6) struggled to get much accomplished offensively, managing just 182 yards total offense. The Spartans were playing their eighth game under acting head coach Harlon Barnett, who subbed in when Mel Tucker was suspended and subsequently fired by the MSU administration.
Quarterback Katin Houser was 12 of 24 passing for 92 yards. Running back Nate Carter had 11 carries for 52 yards.
