Quinn Hughes Discusses Filip Hronek’s Return to the Vancouver Canucks

“He always looks great. Yeah, so happy I mean, I don’t know what his plan is tomorrow, but I’m sure he’ll be back in the next couple days, and we obviously desperately need him,” Hughes said.
Head coach Rick Tocchet added that Hronek’s availability for the upcoming game against the Winnipeg Jets is a “game-time decision.” The 27-year-old Czech defenseman has recorded nine points this season, with one goal and eight assists in 21 games.
Hughes Reflects on Canucks’ Performance and Breaking a Losing Streak

“I think it just means a lot,” Hughes said. “I know how the last couple weeks have been for our team and all the different things we’ve had to battle and not only the last couple weeks, but, you know, this entire season really.”
Hughes highlighted the team’s hard work and resilience. “Just that nothing’s coming easy and, you know, we’re working so hard, working as hard as we can, and there’s no excuses being made in there. There’s no pointing fingers. We just go to work,” he added.
This season, Hughes has been a standout player for the Canucks, tallying 47 points with 38 goals and nine assists over 38 games, along with a plus-15 rating. The Canucks’ recent win improved their record to 19-13-10, placing them fifth in the Pacific Division standings.
