The Houston Texans have taken steps to reinforce their defense by signing defensive back D’Angelo Ross back to the practice squad. While recent struggles have mostly been on offense, the Texans are adding Ross as a depth piece to bolster their defensive lineup.
Despite the team’s overall challenges, Houston’s defense recently held its ground impressively, shutting down the high-powered Detroit Lions offense in the first half of their last game. However, the Texans’ offense continues to face difficulties, struggling to maintain momentum as the game progressed.
Ross, a veteran with prior experience in the Texans’ lineup, is expected to bring additional support as the Texans prepare for a critical Monday Night Football showdown against their in-state rival, the Dallas Cowboys. Following that game, Houston will face divisional matchups against the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars.
