Johnson emphasized the need to sustain drives better, minimizing three-and-outs to avoid overburdening the defense.
With a bye week to recalibrate, Kansas State prepares to host Arizona State on Nov. 16. Johnson noted that the Sun Devils may attempt to stifle the Wildcats’ run game, particularly targeting star running back D.J. Giddens, who was slowed down against Houston.
