USC Coach Fires Back with Bold Message Following Fans’ Fiery Reaction to Washington Defeat

USC fans have voiced their frustration with head coach Lincoln Riley following the Trojans’ 26-21 loss to Washington, marking their fifth defeat in nine games. Many fans expressed their discontent humorously, using a “Mickey Mouse” voice filter over Riley’s post-game comments, which quickly went viral. In his presser, Riley tried to address the team’s struggles, noting they had chances to win in the fourth quarter in every game and faced the toughest schedule in his three years at USC.

Despite fan frustration and speculation about Riley’s future, USC is unlikely to move on from him immediately. The season still offers Riley the chance to turn the record around, and his $90 million buyout makes a coaching change costly. Although fans are calling for a change, USC may give Riley more time to prove himself and reverse the team’s fortunes.
