West Virginia’s football program is back on the recruiting trail during their bye week, with their sights set on defensive end Wilnerson Telemaque, who recently decommitted from Wisconsin. Telemaque, a 6’6″, 260-pound prospect from Miami, Florida, initially chose Wisconsin over West Virginia and Georgia Tech, despite also receiving offers from major programs like LSU, Florida, and Texas A&M.
Now that he’s reopened his recruitment, West Virginia is looking to capitalize. Head Coach Neal Brown recently mentioned the need to strengthen the defensive line in their 2025 class, making Telemaque an ideal target. With his previous visit to Morgantown and existing relationship with the WVU staff, the Mountaineers are hopeful he might lean their way. Telemaque has had a solid season with 16 tackles, three sacks, and three tackles for loss in eight games, making him a valuable addition if West Virginia can secure his commitment.
