Tommy Doyle has given his thoughts about Wolves’ performance on Saturday against Liverpool.
The midfielder was named on the bench by Gary O’Neil, for the first time since making his move to the club from Manchester City.
Doyle signed on loan for Wolves on transfer deadline day.
The club hold a £4.3 million option to buy the youngster next summer.

He was a played they had looked at earlier in the summer, and then reignited their interest when it became apparent Nunes would be leaving.

Tommy Doyle gives honest verdict about watching Wolves against Liverpool…
On Saturday, Doyle was named on the bench by O’Neil.
He was therefore a keen observer for most of the match. He eventually came on as a substitute in the 77th minute for his debut, replacing fellow deadline day signing Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, who had been really good.
Doyle didn’t have much time to impact the game, but was tidy when he got the ball.
Doyle has been speaking on the Wolves weekly podcast about his first game.
And he offered his honest thoughts about the game.
He said (Wolves Weekly): “100% (there were positives to take). I think we’re building really well. I think as lads we knew we probably could have killed the game in the first-half which would have made it easier. I think decisions in the second-half, managing the game better, would help us.
“We’re going to learn and progress. I think the first-half performance was brilliant. The way the lads were, they kept the ball and didn’t force it. They took real care in everything they did.
“When we decided to penetrate, we penetrated with great quality. It’s difficult when you don’t take chances against a top team like Liverpool.”

Doyle will no doubt have really liked what he saw watching the team from the bench in that first-half.
Wolves played some great football at times, and should have gone in two of three goals up at half-time.
The football Wolves have been playing is bound to suit Doyle, who has obviously come from a club that is one of the best in the world when it comes to possession football.
Hopefully he’ll soon make his mark for Wanderers.
