On Thursday night, the Brisbane Broncos will honor their extensive Member Army, which boasts 61,000 strong, during their final home game of the season. The highlight of the evening will be a performance by the Australian rock band Birds Of Tokyo.
The Perth-based group will take the stage at halftime, delivering renditions of two of their most popular tracks: “I’d Go With You Anywhere” and “Plans.” This performance comes as Birds Of Tokyo gear up for their upcoming The Heartbreakers Bar Tour, set to begin next month at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall.
This event is part of a series of high-profile entertainment offerings for the Broncos during the 2024 season. ‘The Greatest Show In Town’ has already featured performances by renowned acts including Wolfmother, Jet, Illy, and DJ Tigerlily, enhancing the game day experience at Suncorp Stadium.
The Broncos have achieved a record-setting average crowd attendance of 40,308 this season. On Thursday, more than 35,000 members and fans are expected to fill Suncorp Stadium to support the team. The Thank You Member Round festivities will feature a major Kia car giveaway, unique member experiences, and a Member Jersey Presentation on the field following the game.
Brisbane Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy praised the club’s members, noting the impressive milestone of surpassing 60,000 members this year. He emphasized the critical role members play in the club’s success and expressed gratitude for their ongoing support. Donaghy also highlighted the team’s commitment to delivering a strong performance in recognition of their loyal fans.
Gates at Suncorp Stadium will open at 6 pm, with the game set to kick off at 7:50 pm.
