DOGS CONSIDER RCG MOVE 🐾🐶
The Bulldogs are reportedly contemplating a recruitment strategy involving Eels forward Reagan Campbell-Gillard, though according to News Corp, their interest is still in the early stages.
Although the Bulldogs are currently performing well, situated near the top of the NRL standings, it’s commonly believed that they need an additional middle forward to become serious contenders for the premiership.
The Belmore-based club has already secured the signings of Tom Amone and Sitili Tupouniua, but integrating Campbell-Gillard’s anticipated salary of $750,000 per year into their salary cap would be a challenge.
In addition to the Bulldogs, the Dragons and Cowboys are also pursuing Campbell-Gillard. The Cowboys, in particular, have created substantial cap space for the upcoming season due to the departures of Valentine Holmes and Chad Townsend.
