Manchester United lost to Brighton at Old Trafford today, in what was the first home Premier League loss for over a year.
Manchester United went behind in the 20th minute, with former striker Danny Welbeck hitting the back of the net again.
Despite being behind, United were the better team both before and after the Seagulls scored.
Two more Brighton goals followed in the second half which gave United a mountain to climb.
Hannibal Mejbri came off the bench to give United a life-line with a brilliant goal from distance.

Lazy defending strikes again
Brighton took the lead in the first half through Danny Welbeck in the first-half completely against the run of play.
United were dominant, so dominant that they relaxed and allowed Brighton to counter attack and take the lead.
A Welbeck goal was inevitable, but to see it happen like that is awful.
Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund are a dangerous duo
In the first half, Manchester United were immense, Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund were causing Lewis Dunk and co nightmares.
However as so often is the case, chances were squandered which left United with a mountain to climb.
Struggling in the second half, it quickly became an insurmountable challenge.
Out-classed by a brilliant Brighton
The warning signs were there in previous games yet the same issues remained, a total collapse in the second half.
Losing to Brighton in itself isn’t the worst thing ever, but the manner of defeat is what will have fans in despair.
Ultimately, it is a worrying day, the fact we can go from so good to leaky and vulnerable in moments, even with such a well stacked midfield.
Hannibal Mejbri first goal
Moments after United went 3-0 down, our young Tunisian struck to offer a glimmer of hope.
Curling it from 25 yards out, Hannibal beat Jason Steele at the near post with a brilliant finish.
What a goal from Hannibal, and despite a horrible result, there is a moment to be positive about as he looks at home on the highest level.
Andre Onana has a shocker
One man who has evaded criticism for much of the season so far has been Andre Onana.
Despite conceding a few goals in other games, it was accepted knowledge that he wasn’t at fault, but today he was bad.
Poor distribution, and arguably should’ve done better with the goals conceded. A disappointing afternoon.
Lots of work to do
Positive moments for United just aren’t enough especially when those moments aren’t capitalised on.
Brighton rode the storm and then punished United who has no answer in the second half.
It is extremely worrying ahead of a trip to the Allianz Arena to face Bayern Munich.
