NSW five-eighth Mitchell Moses is reportedly out of Origin II with a calf strain in a massive blow to the Blues’ bid to wrap up the series in Perth.
Moses suffered a calf strain at Blues training with Tigers halfback Jarome Luai likely to be rushed into Blues camp after starring in the team last season.
However, the Blues also have Matt Burton as an option after he was named 18th man for the second game.
Blues have confirmed he suffered calf strain in training this morning.
“Not sure about the severity of if this stage” will have scans. Replacement hasn’t been discussed yet. Will work with NRL on procedures from here.”
