But rather than shrinking under the pressure, Cuvet uses the doubters as fuel for his drive. “Obviously, there’s that little bit of doubt or fear people have—like, can you do it again? That’s what pushes me every day to keep getting better and to keep working hard,” he said.

While the Hurricanes’ roster has undergone changes, retaining Cuvet gives them a solid foundation to build upon.
