The 37th Annual Rangers Fan Fest, presented by Comerica Bank, will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on January 18 at Globe Life Field. This year’s event is particularly notable as it will feature the first-ever baseball card and memorabilia show. Fans can purchase tickets for $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-13. Tickets are available through the Rangers’ website (rangers.com/fanfest) and the MLB Ballpark mobile app.
In addition to the fan fest, the Texas Rangers will host their prestigious Awards Dinner at 5:30 p.m. on January 17, also at Globe Life Field. Presented by Coca-Cola, the dinner offers fans an opportunity to celebrate the team’s achievements in 2024. Tickets for the dinner are available for $150 per individual, with tables for 10 in preferred seating areas priced at $1,500. Tickets can be purchased at rangers.com/awardsdinner.
The 2025 Fan Fest promises to be an action-packed day with a variety of activities for fans of all ages. Among the highlights are autograph sessions with current Rangers players and alumni, as well as Q&A sessions with team VIPs. Fans will also have the chance to participate in on-field activities such as running the bases, a wiffle ball home run derby, and enjoying inflatables. Photo opportunities with the Rangers’ Six Shooters and mascot Rangers Captain will also be available, offering fans a chance to capture memories from the day.
Fans can shop for team merchandise at the Grand Slam Team Store located in center field and enjoy food and beverages from ballpark concession stands throughout the main and lower concourses. The event will also feature a sale by the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.
As the event date approaches, more details regarding player availability for autograph sessions and other activities will be announced, ensuring an even more exciting experience for attendees.
Chris DeRuyscher, the Rangers’ VP of Ballpark Entertainment, emphasized the significance of Fan Fest in bringing fans together to celebrate the team. “Fan Fest is all about connecting with the incredible fans who are the heart of our team,” DeRuyscher said. “It’s a special opportunity for fans to meet their favorite players, step onto the field, and experience the excitement of baseball up close. There’s no better way to celebrate the start of a new season than by bringing everyone together to share in the energy and passion that make this game so special.”
The Texas Rangers Awards Dinner, held at the Loews Arlington Hotel, will bring together players, coaches, and alumni to honor the team’s best performers of 2024. Among the awards to be presented are the Rangers Player and Pitcher of the Year, as well as the Jim Sundberg Community Achievement Award. This year, the Sundberg Award will honor second baseman Marcus Semien. Additionally, the Mark Holtz Alumni Award will be presented to Shin-Soo Choo, who spent the final seven seasons of his MLB career with the Rangers from 2014 to 2020. After retiring from MLB, Choo played four more seasons in the Korea Baseball Organization before hanging up his cleats for good.
The dinner not only celebrates individual player achievements but also benefits the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation, which supports various community initiatives and youth baseball programs. This charitable aspect adds a meaningful layer to the event, making it a special occasion for both fans and the team.
With exciting activities, player interactions, and opportunities to honor the 2024 season, the Texas Rangers’ Fan Fest and Awards Dinner offer a fantastic way to kick off the new year and build anticipation for the upcoming baseball season.
