Instead, younger players like Patrick Carrigan and Payne Haas, who have experience in Origin games, must step up and assume leadership roles in the absence of the departed veterans.
Furthermore, the club needs to show strong support for coach Kevin Walters if they believe he is the right person to lead them to a premiership.
