The Alabama Crimson Tide may be on the brink of securing a significant recruiting victory over SEC rival Ole Miss. According to 247Sports analyst Tom Loy, Alabama is poised to flip 2025 four-star cornerback Maison Dunn, who has been committed to the Rebels since May.
“I’ve decided to put in a 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction for [Dunn] to flip from the Rebels to the Alabama Crimson Tide,” Loy stated. “From everything I’ve gathered, Alabama has been putting the full-court press on Dunn, and it seems like it’s working.”
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound defensive back from Tupelo, Mississippi, is ranked as the No. 27 cornerback in the nation, the No. 11 player in Mississippi, and the No. 288 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class. Alabama, which offered Dunn in September, has reportedly made him a top priority in recent weeks, fueling growing confidence in Tuscaloosa that they will secure his commitment when signing day arrives.
Snatching a high-profile recruit like Dunn, particularly one from the heart of Mississippi, would be a statement win for Alabama over Lane Kiffin’s Rebels.
