Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Nick Rallis had a remarkable game day experience on Sunday. His wife, Devin, gave birth to their second child, Dominick Kyzir Rallis, just hours before the Cardinals faced off against the Chicago Bears. Shortly after the birth, Nick, ever dedicated to his role, began reviewing the game plan with his wife’s support in the hospital room.
In a true testament to family and football commitment, Devin encouraged Nick to make it to State Farm Stadium in time for the game. “She wants to win,” Nick shared, adding that she was determined he would coach despite the timing. Dominick’s birth and the reveal of his middle name, inspired by one of Nick’s players, linebacker Kyzir White, became a heartwarming story during the game broadcast.
Rallis explained his choice, noting his admiration for White and the impact he feels in guiding players’ careers. White, he said, embodies team spirit and dedication, making him the perfect namesake for his newborn son.
