BREAKING: Nuggets’ Young Core Leads Stunning Comeback as Jokic Triple-Double Secures Win Over Raptors

The Denver Nuggets’ youth stole the show in a thrilling 121-119 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Monday night. Despite missing star guard Jamal Murray and losing Aaron Gordon to an injury early on, Denver’s young trio of Julian Strawther, Peyton Watson, and Christian Braun rallied alongside Nikola Jokic and Michael Porter Jr. to complete the comeback.

The game saw standout performances from Denver’s emerging talent. Watson jump-started the fourth-quarter run with a tough layup and a pivotal defensive play, while Braun drained a clutch three-pointer to tighten the gap. Strawther then put the Nuggets back in the lead with a driving layup, setting the stage for the final moments.

Jokic once again delivered with a triple-double, scoring 28 points, grabbing 14 rebounds, and dishing 13 assists, while Russell Westbrook added 21 points and 6 assists, including a vital defensive stand in the last seconds that forced a missed game-winning attempt by RJ Barrett.

Braun finished with 17 points on efficient shooting, Watson added 16 points and strong defense, and Strawther contributed 13 points, 10 of which came in the second half. With this victory, Denver extends their win streak to two and now stands at 4-3 for the season.

The Nuggets will face the undefeated Oklahoma City Thunder next, aiming to carry this momentum into another high-stakes matchup.
