In addition to format changes, a fan-favorite event will make a return in 2025: the three-point shootout between Curry and WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu. This unique matchup was a highlight of last year’s All-Star events, with Ionescu scoring 26 points and Curry responding with a spectacular 29. Silver emphasized the value of incorporating men’s and women’s competitions in All-Star activities, citing high viewer interest.
