Brisbane Broncos icon Allan ‘Alfie’ Langer is starting an exciting new role as the club’s ambassador, focusing on connecting with fans and communities throughout regional Queensland and beyond. He’ll also represent the Broncos at home games and corporate events, joining former teammates like Alex Glenn and Sam Thaiday in similar roles.
One of his first tasks will take him to Las Vegas for the Broncos’ season opener in 2025, in collaboration with Complete Business Travel, as part of the ‘Viva Alf Vegas’ fan experience. Alfie expressed his excitement about the change, saying he’s eager to reconnect with members and sponsors, while also enjoying more time with his family.
Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy praised Langer as a perfect fit for the role, noting his deep connection with the club and his fans. He emphasized that Alfie’s passion and storytelling ability will make a big impact on engaging Broncos supporters across the region.
