SHOCKING: Paul Finebaum Gets Called Out Over Grim Remarks on Alabama HC Kalen DeBoer—What He Said

Paul Finebaum faced major backlash after he criticized Alabama’s head coach Kalen DeBoer on the “Andy & Ari On3” podcast, suggesting that Alabama fans are already dissatisfied with DeBoer’s performance and even questioning his sideline demeanor. Finebaum’s remarks didn’t sit well with Alabama fans, many of whom took to social media to voice their support for DeBoer and counter Finebaum’s critique.

One fan strongly defended DeBoer, emphasizing that it’s his first season, and he’s still working to implement his own style with a team largely inherited from Nick Saban. Others pointed out the massive player turnover due to the transfer portal and NFL departures, suggesting that patience is needed. Some fans outright dismissed Finebaum’s comments, expressing frustration with the analyst’s tendency to speak on behalf of the Alabama fan base.

However, Finebaum did point out one universally agreed-upon reality: the upcoming game against LSU on November 9 could define DeBoer’s season. With two losses already, a defeat against LSU would likely end Alabama’s playoff chances, making it a must-win situation for DeBoer. If he can pull off a victory, Alabama would be well-positioned to finish strong against lesser opponents, but a loss would intensify the scrutiny around him.
