SHOCKING: Denver Nuggets NBA Champion Issues Alarming Statement on Team’s Future—What’s Happening?

The Denver Nuggets, coming off a recent NBA championship and strong playoff runs, are facing early doubts this season as their current core struggles to recapture last year’s dominance. Forward Michael Porter Jr. expressed a somber view, saying, “If we don’t win it this year, we all know they might have to break it up,” indicating that this season may be the team’s last shot with their current roster.

The Nuggets have a 2-2 record, with two narrow wins over the Raptors and Nets in overtime, as well as losses to the Clippers and Thunder. Nuggets GM Calvin Booth also commented on the team’s direction, acknowledging the challenges of balancing short-term competitiveness with a sustainable long-term strategy. Although it’s too soon to talk of breaking up a team that recently won a championship and still boasts major talent, this season’s start has sparked legitimate concerns about whether the current group can remain competitive at the highest level.
