A 6-foot-4, 190-pound native of Arkansas, Forrest was a 3-star class of 2023 recruit who began his college career at Northwestern State before landing at North Carolina A&T. This past season as a true sophomore, Forrest averaged 19.1 points on 39.9% shooting (24.7% from deep), 3.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 steals in 32.6 minutes per game.
It’s clear that Forrest could use some work on his efficiency, something a place like Kentucky would be able to provide with a stronger supporting cast. But is a guy like Forrest willing to go from averaging nearly 20 points per game to potentially barely seeing the floor in Lexington?
Forrest certainly looks like a potential Ansley Almonor-type of role player. Let’s see if this goes anywhere.
