SHOCK LEADER: Former Georgia QB Stuns the NFL by Topping Several Major Statistical Categories

As Week 3 of the preseason approaches, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Stetson Bennett stands out with impressive statistics. Bennett leads the NFL in passing yards, having accumulated 437 yards, which is nearly 100 more than the second-highest total. He also tops the league in passing attempts (69) and completions (41), though his completion rate of 59.4% is average compared to other quarterbacks.

Bennett’s substantial passing numbers can be attributed to his extended playtime; he has participated in two full games, unlike most quarterbacks who typically play only a series, a quarter, or a half. His performance includes two successful fourth-quarter comebacks, contributing significantly to the Rams’ undefeated record this preseason.

However, Bennett’s preseason has not been without its issues. He also leads the league in interceptions, with five to his name. His performance, particularly a four-interception game in Week 1, has raised some concerns despite his effectiveness in advancing the ball.
