BREAKING: Four-Star Running Back Byron Louis Nears Decision with FSU Leading Contender

Florida State University (FSU) is actively pursuing some of the top running backs for the 2025 recruiting class, with one of their primary targets being four-star Byron Louis from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

FSU has been recruiting Louis for an extended period and is among his top four choices. They are competing with the Miami Hurricanes, Wisconsin Badgers, and Georgia Bulldogs for his commitment.

Louis holds Florida State in high regard due to the strong relationship he has developed with the coaching staff. He expressed to Noles247 that the interactions with FSU coaches have been exceptionally positive. According to Louis, the conversations have been authentic and meaningful, with coaches genuinely interested in getting to know him rather than just performing their recruiting duties. He appreciates the effort they make to build a real connection, rather than just focusing on recruitment.

Ranked as the No. 214 overall player and the No. 15 running back by 247Sports composite rankings, Louis is also the No. 34 player from Florida. After a standout junior season at American Heritage, where he accumulated 1,224 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns on 160 carries, his recruitment process is approaching its conclusion. Florida State is in a strong position, with several predictions suggesting they are likely to secure his commitment.
