Nathaniel Marshall, a defensive lineman from Oak Park, Illinois, has made a commitment to the University of Michigan. Marshall’s decision came after attending the Wolverines’ spring game and was officially announced on Monday. This commitment marks a significant achievement for Michigan’s new head coach, Sherrone Moore, as it is his first official commitment since taking over the position.
Furthermore, Marshall’s commitment is also the first for the defensive staff at Michigan, including defensive line coach Lou Esposito and defensive coordinator Wink Martindale.
Standing at 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 265 pounds, Marshall had scheduled official visits with Illinois, Alabama, and Miami. However, he ultimately chose to end his recruitment process and commit to Michigan before taking those visits.
