USC Set to Steal Top 4-Star Linebacker from Georgia: What This Major Flip Means for Trojans

Trojans Expected to Secure 4-Star LB from Georgia

The USC Trojans might be on the verge of a significant recruiting win. USC insider Scott Schrader from On3 predicts that USC could successfully recruit four-star linebacker Jadon Perlotte from the Georgia Bulldogs.

Perlotte, a standout in the 2025 recruiting class, recently visited Los Angeles during USC’s major July recruiting event. This visit appears pivotal, as USC may have made enough of an impression to potentially flip Perlotte’s commitment.

Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 200 pounds, Perlotte is highly regarded as the nation’s No. 203 overall prospect, the No. 21 linebacker, and the No. 27 recruit from Georgia, according to On3. During his visit to USC, Perlotte indicated to WeAreSC that he plans to return to Southern California for an official visit later in the season.

Several other elite programs, including Alabama, Miami, and Tennessee, are also vying for Perlotte’s attention. Committed to Georgia since early December 2022, Perlotte is noted by recruiting analyst Greg Biggins for his exceptional blend of size and athleticism, making him adaptable to multiple positions on the field.
