The New Orleans Saints are gearing up for their 58th training camp, set to commence shortly. Rookies are slated to report on Tuesday, July 16, with veterans following suit by the subsequent week, marking the first official practice on Wednesday, July 24. Crucially, full padded practices will ensue from July 29 through August 3.
Due to ongoing renovations at their regular facility, this year’s training camp will predominantly unfold in Irvine, California. Most sessions are scheduled at Crawford Field on the University of California, Irvine campus, with the team scheduled to return to New Orleans on August 19 for the final week of preseason preparations.
This marks the Saints’ first departure from their Metairie facility since 2016, when they hosted training camp predominantly at The Greenbrier in West Virginia from 2014 to 2016. In 2009, a portion of their camp was held at River Ridge Playing Fields in Oxnard, California.
