Koby Howard, a highly-rated four-star wide receiver from Chaminade-Madonna High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, had initially planned to visit the University of Florida in the previous month. However, unforeseen circumstances prevented him from making the trip. Determined to make it to Gainesville, Howard has now set his sights on a visit in early March.
Howard revealed that he has scheduled his visit for March 8th, expressing his eagerness to reconnect with the Florida coaching staff. He is particularly interested in discussing how they envision utilizing him in their offensive scheme. Additionally, Howard is looking forward to experiencing the life of a Florida Gator student and strengthening his relationship with the coaches during his return visit.
During the ‘Contact Period’ in January, Florida’s wide receivers coach, Billy Gonzales, made frequent visits to Howard’s school to observe him firsthand. Gonzales has been the primary point of contact for Howard within the Florida coaching staff, and his consistent effort in staying in touch has not gone unnoticed by the talented wide receiver.
