Losing an All-Pro wide receiver is never a good thing, especially for a team like the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills recently traded away Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, leaving an obvious gap in production in their wide receiver room.
Diggs has been one of the best receivers in the league during his tenure with the Bills and will be missed on this offense.
While Diggs’ teammates might be frustrated and upset by this departure, they cannot continue wallowing in their sorrows.
The Bills are looking to turn things around in 2024 after falling short of the Super Bowl again last year.
Now that Diggs is no longer with the team, they might have to take a different strategy heading into the year, especially as it relates to the draft.
Lance Zierlein recently appeared on NFL Total Access, where he said, “I think it would be a wise move, within the first three rounds, to take two wide receivers.”

The Bills have the No. 28 and No. 60 picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, a class that is said to be full of great receiver prospects.
There has been much discussion of the players who are expected to go in the first 15 picks, but with the amount of depth in the class, there’s no telling how many of these prospects will pan out for their respective teams.
Assuming the Bills do target the position as Zierlein suggests, it will be interesting to see who they pick up and which player will replace Diggs in the offense.
