Rangers are keeping close tabs on St Mirren sensation Ethan Sutherland, sources have told Football Insider.
Sutherland has caught the eye of multiple clubs while on loan at Scottish League One side Alloa Athletic during the second half of this season.
Rangers also have a “strong” and “concrete” interest in signing the left-sided attacker, who has also featured at left-back during his loan spell with Alloa.

There is likely to be significant interest in Sutherland this summer following his impressive form out on loan.
The teenager has scored two goals and laid on six assists in just 14 matches since joining Alloa in the January transfer window.
The winger temporarily left St Mirren in search of first-team football after making just two appearances for the Scottish Premiership side.
While the Premier League interest in Sutherland could pose a threat to Rangers’ hopes of landing Sutherland, they will be hoping he would prefer to remain in Scotland at this stage of his career.
The Gers could also potentially offer the attacker a quicker route to the first team at Ibrox than some of their English counterparts.
John Bennett has made no secret of his desire to bring in talented youngsters that could potentially turn a profit for the club further down the line.
If the Light Blues chairman decides to sanction a move for Sutherland this summer, the club will need to persuade him that a switch to Glasgow would be the ideal step to continue his development.
