According to OverTheCap.com, Matt Peart’s contract includes a $1,125,000 base salary and a $167,500 signing bonus. This results in a total salary cap hit of $1,152,500. Peart has $200,000 guaranteed as part of his contract.
When considering the contracts of Peart, Cody Barton, and Justin Strnad, the combined salary cap space they would occupy amounts to $4,917,500 if they make the roster for the upcoming season. Prior to factoring in the Josh Reynolds contract, the Broncos are estimated to have approximately $20.4 million in remaining cap space.
Although the specific details of Reynolds’ two-year contract have not been disclosed yet, it is reported to be worth “up to” $14 million.
