NFL Player Sparks Speculation with Hints About Possible Return to Former Team Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons have a busy offseason ahead.

Finding a quarterback is the top priority, but there are other areas of the roster that also need attention. The team could benefit from more wide receivers to pair with Drake London and a cornerback opposite of A.J. Terrell. A strong pass rusher off the edge would also be a valuable addition.

The Falcons have few impending free agents but re-signing Calais Campbell is a clear priority for the team. Leading the Falcons with 6.5 sacks, Campbell has a standing offer from the Falcons to return next season if he chooses to do so. Falcons’ management has made it clear they would like him back, but they will respect his decision-making process.

Campbell’s familiarity with Atlanta’s new head coach, Raheem Morris, and Grady Jarrett’s potential to act as a “recruiter” suggest the Falcons are in a good position to sign Campbell if he decides to continue playing.
