The next Newcastle United player to commit to a new deal is expected to be Emil Krafth.

According to Fotboll Direkt, there has been agreement achieved by all parties involved in the discussions, and an official announcement regarding the contract extension will be made soon.
According to the Swedish media outlet, Emil Krafth wasn’t persuaded early in the season that staying longer at St. James’ Park would be a wise decision. Malmo, Copenhagen, and Brondby were all interested in signing the Sweden international, according to Fotboll Direkt.
Emil Krafth has been encouraged by his participation in the Premier League, appearing on the field five times and being selected on the bench thirteen times since returning from a catastrophic injury that sidelined him for more than a year. This season, the 29-year-old has made a total of eight appearances in all competitions, including two starts.
Emil Krafth has played in 72 games for Newcastle United after joining the club in the summer of 2019 from Amiens in France.
According to Fotboll Direkt, the renewal of Krafth’s contract in Newcastle is expected to last until the end of June 2025.
