Sheffield Wednesday may not have been expecting to have this much transfer interest in their players this month.

Ipswich currently have left-back Brandon Williams on loan from Manchester United.
Right now, he’s back at Old Trafford, working on his recovery after injury curtailed his impressive start to the season with the Tractor Boys.
Ipswich Town are now waiting nervously to see whether or not Williams’ injury is serious, and whether or not Manchester United terminate his loan spell so that he can step up his recovery at Carrington.
Hence Ipswich’s emerging interest in left wing-back Johnson, and hence why Manchester United could potentially deal Sheffield Wednesday a huge transfer blow this month.

Johnson leaving Sheffield Wednesday this month would certainly be a travesty for Rohl.
His style of play as a wing-back; being able to bomb forward, put enticing crosses into the box and also score goals, makes him ideal for this contemporary Sheffield Wednesday side that we’re seeing unfold under Rohl.
And what’s more is that Rohl really doesn’t have any kind of back-up for Johnson, other than Reece James who’s barely featured this season.
James has made just five appearances under Rohl with two of them being starts; like Johnson though, James could well be brought out of the dark.
It’s a tricky one for Rohl and Sheffield Wednesday to weigh up.
For Johnson, a move to Ipswich Town at 33 could present him with his best and final chance of playing in the Premier League and few would knock him for that.
But for Wednesday, Johnson leaving would certainly present Rohl with a handful of problems.
