The Las Vegas Raiders ended the 2023-2024 NFL regular season strong with a 27-14 win against the Denver Broncos in Allegiant Stadium.
The Raiders finish the season with an 8-9 record, which is two games better than last 2022-23 NFL season. The Silver and Black swept the Broncos 2-0 in divisional play ultimately finishing second in the AFC West and the 11th seed in the AFC.
Raiders interim head coach Antonio Pierce finishes with a 5-4 head coaching record since taking over this season and awaits his future with the organization.
Two Raider wide receivers shined in the 27-14 win against the Broncos, starting with Davante Adams. Adams finished the game with five receptions for 46 yards and scored one receiving touchdown. He has now passed Torry Holt for the 3rd most receptions in NFL history among players in their first 10 NFL seasons.
In his second season with the Silver and Black, Adams finished with 103 receptions for 1,144 yards and scored eight touchdowns.
Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers also shined in the 27-14 win against the Broncos and picked up where he left off in the last matchup in Week 1. Meyers ended the game in the first matchup against the Broncos with nine receptions for 81 yards and two receiving touchdowns. In the 27-14 win against the Broncos, Meyers finished the game with three receptions for 61 yards and scored one receiving touchdown.
In his first season with the Silver and Black, Meyers finished with 71 receptions for 807 yards and scored eight touchdowns.
Ultimately, these two wideouts for the Silver and Black have shown to be a very dynamic wide-receiver duo this season and can be a very dangerous duo for years to come for the Silver and Black offense.
The Raiders now enter the off-season with many decisions to consider and are currently listed as having the 13th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft held in Detroit, Michigan.
