Reports have claimed that Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez made sure he had the last laugh in his first Premier League game against his former side yesterday.
According to the Mail Online, he made sure to give Brighton supporters at Stamford Bridge a sarcastic wave after the final whistle.
Despite a number of ex-Brighton players on display, Sanchez seemed to get the worst reception from those in Stamford Bridge yesterday.
This didn’t seem to have too much of an effect on the Spaniard’s performance, with him making a number of big saves and claims as the Blues were under the cosh.
Despite leading the game, Chelsea had 10 men for more than half of the 90 minutes after Conor Gallgher’s red card.
Moises Caicedo and Levi Colwill seemed to avoid the wrath of the away fans, although the natural position of the goalkeeper right in front of the stand made him an easy target.

Whether this inspired his performance or just irritated him for the 90 minutes, he made sure to make his point known when the game ended.
He waved goodbye to those in the away end, while he also clashed with a number of his former teammates at the end of the game.
Their annoyance will only have been enhanced by seeing Colwill, who they wanted to join so much over the summer following his successful loan spell, score his first Chelsea goal against them at Stamford Bridge.
Sanchez will now look to keep his run going of starting every single game for the club since he joined with fixtures now coming thick and fast.
They travel to Old Trafford on Wednesday to take on Manchester United, with a real chance to climb up the Premier League table.
