While the former Manchester United defender and Sky Sports pundit does not think that Liverpool will actually win the title, he believes that Jurgen Klopp’s side are more likely than Spurs to launch a challenge.

My View: Tottenham Hotspur could compete with Liverpool for the title
In my opinion, Tottenham Hotspur could launch a challenge for the Premier League title and compete with Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City this season.
Yes, this might sound silly now, but we all remember what happened last season, don’t we?
Arsenal were expected to challenge ‘just’ for the UEFA Champions League places in the Premier League table.
The Gunners ended up pushing Manchester City for the title until the final weeks of the season.
Can we say for sure that Tottenham would not be able to do that?
Yes, Spurs do not have as good a squad as City, Liverpool and Arsenal do, but Leicester City did not have the best squad when they won the Premier League title.
