Tottenham star Yves Bissouma ‘has more to his game’ than Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo, says Tim Sherwood

Bissouma joined Spurs in a £30million move in June 2022 but struggled to replicate his Brighton form as Spurs endured a difficult 2022-23 campaign, also hampered by an ankle injury.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed a superb start to the new season under Ange Postecoglou, almost ever-present in the manager’s starting XI and turning in an excellent display in Sunday’s 2-2 draw with arch-rivals Arsenal.

Caicedo made the same move from Brighton to the capital, joining Chelsea in a £110million deal in another summer of rampant spending at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have endured a woeful start to the new campaign with the 21-year-old Ecuador international still getting to grips with life under Mauricio Pochettino.
