The six games Brennan Johnson could miss for Tottenham after North London Derby injury blow

Brennan Johnson could be sidelined for up to six weeks depending on the severity of the hamstring injury he sustained during Tottenham’s North London Derby draw against Arsenal on Sunday. The Wales international was withdrawn from the game in the 63rd minute – being replaced by Manor Solomon – and football.london understands Johnson only suffered from a tight hamstring rather than a more serious issue.

Ange Postecoglou put his faith in Johnson as he handed the youngster his first start for Spurs in arguably the biggest game of the season. The 22-year-old saw a golden chance to score against the Gunners denied by David Raya before his time on the pitch was cut short after an hour.

Speaking after the game, Postecoglou has now provided an update on the £47.5million summer signing’s injury. “I’m not sure with Brennan [Johnson], he felt his hamstring,” the Spurs boss told reporters.
