It is retooling time for the Buffalo Bills after they traded star wide receiver Stefon Diggs and lost WR2 Gabriel Davis in free agency this offseason.
They still have quarterback Josh Allen, whom many consider one of the three to five best players at his position, and some very capable players defensively, and a good number of people still feel they will find a way to make the playoffs even without Diggs.
But Emmanuel Acho said on FS1’s “Speak” that the Bills will have the worst season they have had in the last five years.
Since 2020, when Allen emerged as an elite QB, the Bills have been considered Super Bowl contenders every year, even last season when there was seemingly tension between Diggs and the rest of the organization.
They have won at least 11 games in each of the last four seasons, but they have made just one trip to the AFC Championship Game during that time.

Last year, a five-game winning streak to end the regular season gave them the AFC East title, but after beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in heartbreaking fashion.
Not only did Buffalo lose Diggs and Davis, but star pass rusher Leonard Floyd and safety Jordan Poyer are also gone from a defense that was banged up in 2023.
The team needs players such as tight end Dalton Kincaid and wide receiver Khalil Shakir to develop quickly in order to replace Diggs’ production soon enough.
