Sevilla’s Ivan Rakitic has called Aston Villa boss Unai Emery ‘one of the best coaches in the world’, as he spoke about what it was like to work under the Spaniard.
The Croatian international was managed by Emery during the duo’s time with Sevilla. He played a total of 75 times in all competitions under the manager, before leaving to join Barcelona in the summer of 2014, after lifting the Europa League with the club.
Rakitic, who is now back at Sevilla, after a six year spell at the Camp Nou, has heaped praise on the Villa boss. He has also made an ‘amazing’ prediction for the club under the guidance of Emery.
